A pickle sweater, friendship bracelets, a “booger maker,” and toilet paper. These are just a few of the client gifts suggested by the children of Curiosity. The company responsible for relaunching Borden’s Elsie the Cow and introducing BUSH’s Bean’s Duke Bush to Instagram in 2019 is closing out the year with the help of a few cute kids. To celebrate the holiday season, Curiosity executed a multi-platform holiday experience that includes video, email, and curious packages delivered to clients’ doorsteps.
The idea behind the holiday experience stemmed from a desire to share more joy with clients and friends of the agency, and there is nothing more joyous than kids during the holidays. Nearly 20 children of employees visited the Curiosity office in downtown Cincinnati; they were interviewed on camera and asked what the agency should send clients for the holidays. The responses? Priceless. Boys and girls shared wacky ideas from “Connecticut sand” and “time off to play pingpong” to popcorn and rocks. Curiosity employees then purchased some of these curious gifts, packaged and mailed them to clients in a subscription-style box. The final video highlights the antics that ensued when working with the “junior elves,” and will be shared via email and social media with all of Curiosity’s clients and friends.
“Recognizing we could all use a little more of it in our world today, joy became a theme for Curiosity and many of our clients this year, so we naturally extended it to the holidays,” said Jeff Warman, Chief Creative Officer at Curiosity. “Generating this content was a labor of love, and working with these kiddos meant we were able to let the purity of the moments shine through. We hope the video and odd gifts put a smile on our clients’ faces this season and maybe create a curious conversation or two.”
Curiosity wraps up 2019 with record revenue growth, quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing independent agencies in the Midwest. “We have a lot to celebrate this year with new business wins like Borden Dairy, BUSH’s Beans, and P&G’s Native,” said Ashley Walters, Chief Development Officer at Curiosity. “There’s never been a better time to be part of the Curiosity family.”
