Curiosity Hires Jeff Warman as Chief Creative Officer

Aug 30, 2018

Curiosity Advertising, a strategic, fully integrated national advertising agency based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is pleased to announce that Jeff Warman joined the agency July 30 as Chief Creative Officer. He will be taking the lead of the agency’s creative department. The role was previously held by the agency’s current CEO, Matt Fischer.

Curiosity is one of the fastest-growing agencies in the Midwest, named one of Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America for four consecutive years. With a growing roster of local, national and international clients, principals Matt Fischer and Greg Livingston knew they needed to tap a strong creative talent to lead the agency’s success to the next level. The two founders believe Warman will be the perfect complement to their recent hire of Trey Harness as President, completing the new leadership team.

“Jeff wants to help take Curiosity to whole new levels of fame and recognition,” Fischer says. “I believe he is just the person we need to do this. Jeff is a consummate professional and talent, and I have enjoyed getting to know him in this courtship and have come to view Jeff as a kindred spirit. He has tremendous passion for the work, for this business and for helping clients achieve more than they think they can.”

Warman’s arrival at Curiosity marks the beginning of a period of projected new growth for the already thriving agency. The agency has been growing steadily since its inception in 2010, with over $24 million in revenue in 2017.

“Matt and Greg have built an incredible foundation for Curiosity. Add in Trey’s exceptional leadership as President, plus the agency’s momentum, and this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I’m thrilled to be part of the team that will help lead Curiosity to new heights as one of the country’s finest agencies,” says Warman.

Warman will immediately assume the responsibilities of Chief Creative Officer at Curiosity Advertising, overseeing all creative accounts including Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads, Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup, Nehemiah Manufacturing (Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus, Boogie Wipes, Kandoo, Dreft, Febreze In-Wash Odor Eliminator), Drees Homes, Meridian Bioscience, Vegy Vida, Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati Bell Communications, The Cincinnati Insurance Companies, Salon Concepts and others.

Previously, Warman founded creative and content agency Proclamation with former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Dhani Jones. Proclamation was acquired by Empower MediaMarketing in 2016, where he then became Chief Creative Officer. He is best known for his emotive storytelling work on Under Armour, the NFL, the LIVESTRONG Foundation, the Muhammad Ali Center, and the Ohio Tobacco Prevention Foundation. He is highly acclaimed within the advertising community, with creative work recognitions from Emmys to National Addys and features in every major advertising and creative industry publication. Jeff launched his career in New York City working as an associate producer for CBS News. He moved from New York to Cincinnati to apply his creative talents to the advertising industry, joining the creative departments at Barefoot Proximity/BBDO and Northlich before launching Proclamation.
