We are thrilled to announce that our very own VP of Client Services, Angie Fischer, is the first recipient of the Goering Center’s annual Rising Leader Award. Ten semifinalists were announced over the past year. Each nomination highlighted a leader’s achievements in a particular business best-practice category, such as performance management system, business growth, leadership development and more. Angie was recognized for her performance in Dynamic Business Strategy due to her significant impact on Curiosity’s strategic operations since its inception and more recently due to her role in crafting and implementing Curiosity’s three-year vision—the “Curiosity 20/20.” If success metrics are achieved, the plan will double revenue by 2020. This plan also established five core pillars of the agency as part of an effort to further define Curiosity’s culture, which is an essential element of agency growth and new client acquisition.
Speaking about her experience, Angie shared, “I’m so grateful to those who took a moment out of their day lend to their support in this exciting process. It’s such an honor to be recognized by an organization like the Goering Center that is deeply involved in Cincinnati’s private and family-owned business community. It has been an amazing experience to be a part of Curiosity’s growth over the past seven years, and I’m so excited for what the future holds!”
Matt Fischer (no relation to Angie) Curiosity president and agency partner, said, “This award is testimony to Angie’s hard work and dedication to becoming a great leader and strong executive. I am hard-pressed to think of anyone who has grown so much as a person and as a professional in so many ways since Angie joined us seven years ago. It is a pleasure to work with and beside her every day.”
