This month, Angie Fischer, VP and Director of Client Services, was recognized for her contributions to the development and execution of Curiosity’s business strategy.
Fischer has been heavily involved in Curiosity’s strategic operations since its inception, but most recently she was instrumental in the crafting and rollout of Curiosity’s three-year vision, titled “Curiosity 20/20.” If success metrics are achieved, the plan will double revenue by 2020. The plan also established five core pillars of the agency as part of an effort to enhance Curiosity’s culture.
Matt Fischer, President and Chief Creative Officer, noted, “I work closely with Angie, although we’re not related (everybody asks that). She helped us understand that a lot of our processes that worked when we were 50 people had to change when we had 75 people. Her knowledge, experience, communication abilities, business savvy—all were a huge plus as she led this process for us.”
The award, administered by the Goering Center for Family & Private Business, honors Cincinnati’s rising generation of leaders. Each month, an independent panel of judges selects one semifinalist from a pool of nominees, identifying 10 semifinalists in all. Semifinalists are chosen for their demonstrated success advancing one of the 10 Best Practices. Once the semifinalists have all been identified, the Goering Center will honor one “Rising Leader” at its annual Family & Private Business Awards beginning with the gala on September 12, 2017.
